Access to the A3, both North and South bound is within easy reach providing access to the South Coast, Guildford, London and the surrounding countryside with its many "Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty" with their opportunities for walking and other outdoor pursuits.

A village shop and Post Office are located at the North end of the village near to the link road to the A3. Traffic calming within the village aims to discourage through traffic. In the middle of the village is the Graetham Inn which is the village's public house and further South is the Primary School, with The Village Nursery School attached, which caters for approximately 200 pupils.

Further shopping and education facilities can be found either in Liss or Petersfield. The nearby villages of Liss and Liphook have mainline rail connections to London Waterloo and the South Coast.

The village Hall is adjacent to the recreation area, which contains a football field and two playgrounds catering for both younger and older children.

Further south of the village are the remains of the Old Village Church which dates back to the 13th Century. The Chancel is the only remaining part, containing a tomb of some historical value. Opposite is the present Church that was built in 1875. Next to the Old Church is a very beautiful manor house occupied by the L'Abri Fellowship.
